What is the Badge Zone?

The Badge Zone is our online hub to support with all things Badge Nation, whether you're considering joining and curious to learn more, or returning to write your 100th badge.

Use the Badge Zone to:

  • Learn about digital badges
  • Start writing high-quality badges
  • Access help and support

Don't worry, it's open to all!

Using the Badge Zone will not automatically sign your organisation up to a Badge Nation membership package.

Add your organisation

You'll be joining your organisation.

Organisations

Please provide the details of your organisation. We need this information to enable your access to our Badge Writing Form. Creating your organisations profile does not mean you are signing up or committing to sign up to Badge Nation, is completely free of charge.

If you wish to sign up as a Badge Nation customer now or in the future, or your organisation is already a Badge Nation customer, you can find details of this within your Badge Zone account.

Choose your badging platform

Please select a badge issuing platform for your organisation to use. This will be the badge issuing platform that your digital badges are published to once you have completed a Badge Nation membership agreement and submitted your digital badge for quality assurance.

Credly

If you plan to issue your badges to employees, are wanting to issue to small groups of individuals, or already have an account on Credly, please select this option.

Navigatr

If you are planning to issue badges within your community, are signing up as part of a Community/City, or wish for your badges to be discoverable on the Navigatr map and discover search engine, please select this option.

Badge Issuing Platforms

Badge issuing platforms are where we publish the digital badges you write with us, once we have quality assured them. If you are unsure whether you have selected the right platform, or if you would like to talk to us about badge issuing platforms please submit a support request within the Badge Zone using the 'Help' button on the left hand side of your screen.

Set password

Setting a strong password will help ensure your online accounts are safe.

Password requirements

  • At least 10 characters
  • A mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • A mixture of letters and numbers
  • Include at least one special character (! @ # ? $)

Badge Nation is led by a partnership between Real Ideas and Future Creators, therefore, personal data will be shared with both organisations. All Badge Nation member data will be handled in accordance with our Information Sharing Agreement and details can be found in our Privacy Notice.

Badge Nation is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and we’ll only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you requested from us as part of your Members Area access.
